Overseeing patient flow through the ED and managing complex patient care while supervising fellow RNs, LPNs, Paramedics and PCTs. Completing administrative tasks such as quality endeavors, yearly staffing evaluations, and staffing for the department. Participated on hospital-wide committees as needed and trained as a prn house supervisor.

Oversee the operations of the ED during nightshift, making assignments and supervising fellow RNs, LPNs, paramedics and PCTs. Coordinating patient flow through the ED by collaborating with providers while maintaining awareness of acuity levels. Cross-trained to ICU during this time period and picked up shifts on a prn basis.

Coordinated care for a 37 bed patient unit, supervising RN's, LPN's and CNA's, while caring for a six patient assignment of my own. Attended nursing council meetings and falls committee meetings, helped to create patient safety initiatives. Assisted in opening the Orthopedic unit.

Completed RN residency as a new graduate, providing complete patient care for assignments of up to seven patients, executing care plans and monitoring patients' clinical conditions.
