Prior to nursing school, working retail shadowed the responsibility of working Home Care. Similarly to retail, I practiced teamwork and autonomy skills by communicating with family members and advocating for clients. Managing going to school full time while working highlights time management and organization.
As a Nurse Extern on a Medical Surgical unit, allowed more practice and the importance of having a good support system. Through this experience, there was an improvement of growth, knowledge, and detail to patient care.
During Senior Preceptorship, I had the opportunity to advance
