Angela Lemke

As a facilitator I work alongside the Special Education conducting evaluations of students, collecting data, conducting observations, scheduling meetings and gathering all paperwork.

As a paraeducator, I worked with the social and emotional special education team. I was in charge of the administration of the recovery and sensory room, as well as working in classrooms as needed to de-escalate students by modeling and teaching coping skills. I also collected data, which I then utilized in assisting teachers to prepare empowering action plans for the students' success in the classroom.

In this position, I worked one-on-one with students who experience physical disabilities. I modeled and taught coping skills, provided scribing assistance, hygiene assistance, and other educational assistance per the students' individualized education plan.
