• Established best practices with Director and Deputy Director to develop and implement strategic programming, partnerships, and outreach initiatives. Responsible for leading Museum’s efforts to provide impactful experiences with collection, exhibitions, and art-making process both within and beyond walls of museum.
• Engage diverse audiences on site and in broader local, statewide, and national communities, specifically traditionally under-resourced communities.
• Lead team of 6 professional staff to develop, budget, plan, and execute innovative in person, virtual and hybrid programs, partnerships, and cultural experiences.
• Conceptualized, raised $750K in funding and direct Artist Innovation Mentorship Program, connecting middle school aged youth and artists through residencies in rural communities across NC.

• Organized series of listening sessions to identify community needs before implementing programs to multiple audiences across state.
• Developed and maintained mutually beneficial relationships with strategic community stakeholders and formed NCMA's first Community Advocacy Committee, Latinx Committee and IDEA Task Force (DEI)
• Identified resources and opportunities to implement programming and policy, system and environmental changes.

• Lead College Advisory Panel of 30 faculty and students from diverse universities across NC
• Co-created college focused museum events with faculty, interns and students
• Managed all aspects of Teen Arts Council, including recruitment of 20+ teens, in person and virtual meetings and events
• Developed 18 month advance calendar of in person and virtual Museum Studio Programs with artists for adult audiences related to exhibitions and permanent collection

• Worked closely with Director of Artistic Programs and was responsible for creation and implementation of educational programming for all ages, including 8 week/60+ class Summer Arts Program, Saturday art-making classes for families, Art Happy Hours, studio workshops for adults, outreach to schools, Corporate Creativity team building workshops as well as working with over 30 teaching artists, developing courses and offering mentorship.
• Served as institutional liaison for community accessibility partner, Arts Access, to evaluate and strengthen organization’s accessibility efforts.
• Managed 25+ volunteers, recruited for and managed summer Internship program.

• Used Mentorship Model as Artist in Residence in Title 1 Pre-K Classrooms (Grow up Great with the Arts)
• 3 years of integrating art into Pre-K classrooms in Wake County Public Schools through series of 9 week residencies.
• Contributed to creative process through curricula development, implementation and evaluation.

• Co-created mobile studio program which provided week-long focused art camps to middle school students in downtown Raleigh.
• Built relationships with local artists and arts organizations and offered students one-on-one art-making experiences on site in artist's studios.

• Developed courses in drawing, painting and illustration for teens and adults, as well as mixed media classes for youth ages 18 months - middle school at Durham Arts Council, Durham, Sertoma Arts Center and NCMA in Raleigh.
