Summary

I have been an elementary school teacher since 1997, obtaining my teaching credential from Sierra Nevada College in Incline Village, Nevada. I briefly stepped away from classroom teaching to take care of and eventually homeschool my son who has special needs. I am committed to helping students play an active role in the learning process by establishing strong relationships with students and families to help children reach their full potential in a positive environment that builds self confidence, intrinsic motivation, and a love of learning by staying up to date on the latest curriculum, technology, and other resources.
