Function as the day to day clinical and administrative lead of the Urgentivist Extenders, expanding over three states. This team provides video urgent visits to patients. Job functions include payroll, telehealth oversight, onboarding, skills assessment, performance reviews and chart audits. Work with market leadership on team performance toward quality, documentation, productivity and clinical outcomes. Participate in leadership meetings to contribute to market goals and quarterly metrics. Work with national team on standardization.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide home care to complex, chronic patients. Work to help patients stay well and stay at home, avoiding hospital visits and admissions whenever possible. Assess patients for possible risk reduction, provide urgent visits, routine assessments, medication reconciliation, and health maintenance. Act as an OWL, helping to onboard new Providers. Assist in filling in for initial visits, maintenance visits and post discharge visits. Overtake urgent episodes of care for staff on leave.

Assess, diagnose and treat patients 13 and older with a focus on the geriatric population. Treat acute and chronic conditions with strengths in lifestyle modification, hypertension and diabetes. Perform in office procedures including pelvic exams, incision and drainage, cerumen removal, and laceration repair. Consistently maintain high patient satisfaction scores and meet quality measures for screening and disease prevention.

As a registered nurse I have assisted and supported the surgical procedure with an exceptional knowledge of surgical instruments, equipment, and patient care. I have assumed the role of circulator, surgical technologist, and second assistant to fit the needs of my department.

In my role as Clinical Coordinator, I was responsible for maintaining my specialties which have included general, gynecology, robotics, and bariatric surgery. This included ordering equipment, training new staff, and keeping up to date on the latest recommendations for practice. I accomplished this by continually attending conferences such as AORN congress and the Ohio State conference on the care of the bariatric patient. My team and I continually exceed turn over time goals and maintain a high level of patient satisfaction.

• Master Trainer for AHRQ Team STEPPS: Responsible for implementation of teaching Team Strategies and Tools to enhance performance and patient safety concentrating on a multidisciplinary approach for development of quality and safety within the entire organization.
• Perioperative Services Shared Governance Committee member: A multidisciplinary team developed to align policies, patient satisfaction, physician integration, and cost containment initiatives.
