Wound care and in-office procedures
Had a gap in nursing exposure related to a very poor personal decision in 2015, which resulted in the nursing board suspending my license.
I was volunteering for a non-profit organization and found myself skimming from accounts. It was over $1,000 which was considered a felony through the courts and unethical by the State Nursing Board. I made it right by the non-profit and served all my time and probation requirements handed down by the courts. I maintained my CEU's, and paid all fines and fees, and passed my state written boards, as required by the State Nursing Board. I am proud to report the my license has been re-instated with the provision of a year probation, which will be lifted in July 2026. I am very excited to get back to doing what I love and being a team player in the healthcare field of nursing.
