  • Designing unit plans and daily lessons for kindergarten through third-grade students to teach skills in music reading, listening, and performance.
  • Creating, teaching, and coordinating grade-level performances.
  • Developing lessons and programming for students with autism in our Intensive Learning Support classroom.
  • Adapting lessons to differentiate instruction and meet students' diverse learning needs and abilities.
  • Developed a comprehensive K-12 music curriculum in partnership with the Arts Education Collaborative, aligning with educational standards and using best practices as well as innovative teaching methodologies to enhance student engagement, critical thinking, and knowledge retention.
  • Building positive relationships to involve families and community members in the educational process through a school-wide newsletter, social media, and a music class-specific Facebook page.
  • Creating supportive and inclusive learning environments, fostering positive classroom atmospheres supporting student growth and learning.
