• Assists with contacting and follow-up with patients, tracking critical information for performance
• Improvement and ensuring the radiologist has the latest diagnostic information
• Experience with QC testing. Independently maintained a safe and clean environment for patients by following procedures for radiation protection, personal protective equipment, infection control, and disposal of hazardous
waste and sharps.
• Operates all fixed diagnostic imaging equipment to complete the scheduled procedure.
• Reviews of images prior to transmission ensuring images meet diagnostic quality standards.
• Able to recognize unusual findings in the breast. Reviews prior studies and reports that pertain to current examination ensuring all diagnostic imaging is obtain prior to the patient leaving.
• Taking post images after ultrasound biopsy while performing diagnostics and screening
mammograms.
• Utilized Hologic equipment, 3D Tomosynthesis digital mammography equipment and 2D digital
technology.
