I have previously volunteered as an office assistant for, at the time, was called Texas Society to Prevent Blindness. However, the name has since changed to Prevent Blindness Texas. I am unsure of the dates, but it was in the year 1988. I dedicated a few hours a week working part time. I answered phones, typed letters, and prepared letters to mail. I just wanted to give my time for a worthy cause.
