Summary

I bring a wealth of experience and knowledge. 11 Years' experience working in MSSP program and a total of almost 17 years' experience as a social worker in the department of DAAS. Excellent interpersonal skills and work very well with a diverse population consisting of co-workers, supervisors, and clients that the department of DAAS serves and employs. Enjoy learning about different cultures and traditions. Empathetic towards others. Communicate with others in a professional and respectful manner always considering other people's feelings and emotions. Great problem solver and listener always paying close attention to what clients and peers need. Current supervisor and co-workers regularly ask for input on a situation or problems. SPHN Granger/supervisor consults with this social worker often on different aspects of the program. During monthly unit meeting I frequently give input and ideas and share resources with the group to facilitate the work or to improve things. Customer services skills are excellent and communicate effectively with both peers, customers/clients and supervision. Communicate effective and clearly both in verbal and written form. An example is that quarterly surveys get mailed out quarterly to random clients by OA, on the surveys clients are asked to provide feedback on their social workers and how their cases and needs are handled. Had a survey that was read by CDA auditors from a client gave excellent feedback on how happy and satisfied client is with overall performance in handling of her case. The state auditors from CDA were very impressed. Another example is cases often transferred to handle that are either deemed problematic by other social workers or if clients ask for a different social worker. After handing their cases and those clients end up not complaining anymore. I am good a de-escalating stressful situation. Never had any complaints from any clients in the almost 11 years that have been with MSSP. I have the ability to de-escalate an irate client, and co-worker. Skills as social worker to mediate a disagreement between two people. Emotional intelligence skills and can regulate emotions and still be empathic with others. Have helped peers handle different illness and deaths in the family. Work well with all co-workers and supervisor. All WPE's always reflect an over-all above average performance, especially in customer services. Supervisor often leaves this social worker in charge of the group when on vacations. Often turn to for help when extra duties need to be assigned during any vacancy in the program either social worker or office assistant. Always help out when new staff gets hired and help train them. Usually chosen by supervisor to help with nursing students from Loma Linda Nursing School and showing them what is done with case management and out in the field visiting client. Get picked by supervisor to help out in different capacities in the program other than immediate assigned duties because supervisor says, "things get done when assigned to this social worker". Organized and dependable candidate successful at managing multiple priorities with a positive attitude. Willingness to take on added responsibilities to meet team goals. Hardworking and passionate job seeker with strong organizational skills eager to secure entry-level Social Worker Supervisor position. Ready to help team achieve company goals. Invested Social Worker dedicated to forming trusting relationships and advocating for best interest of clients. Expertise in communication and customer service. Respectful and compassionate professional offering [17]-year background serving community by providing guidance for clients in need.
