Professional Acomplishments

Capstone Projects:

  • Linear Transformations and the Orthogonal Group, A presentation of linear isometries and transformation representation of the Orthogonal Group.
  • Teaching Mathematics with a focus on State Standard for Mathematics Practices and Common Core State Standards. My role was to act as an instructor and provide a lesson to fellow students using inquiry based learning strategies and active learning techniques.

Research Projects:

  • Thesis: Einstein Warp Product Metrics looking at a specific Ricci Flat manifold namely the Schwarzschild radius (in progress)
  • Research Project: Orthogonal and Special Orthogonal Groups: Isometric Transformations in Rn, This paper provides an introduction to the orthogonal and special orthogonal groups and their properties. We determine the significance in the relationship between linear isometries and orthogonality and conclude that all linear isometries in Rn are elements of the orthogonal group O(n).

Deans List:

  • Fall 2021 - Current
  • Fall 2019 - Spring 2021
