Summary

My background is in Interior Design, as the owner of a contracted business which made me responsible for all billing and invoicing, ordering and tracking, installation, project management, drafting, FFE, customer service concerns, etc. I have worked on everything from commercial window displays and restaurants in New York and DC, to restaurants and commercial design, to working on full remodels of single and multi-residential homes. While doing this I have run an online furniture store, and before leaving New York had my office on Wall Street with an internship program arranged with NYU. I managed up to roughly 10-15 people at a time and my staff maintained the sales volume and customer service concerns on the website while I continued my full-time design work.

  • Manage 19 restaurants in the area and meet with contractors to work on remodels, new builds, and basic maintenance
  • Because this position lined up with CoVID and it was particularly difficult with the hospitality industry, there were a lot of last minute changes needed in order to meet the pandemic operation requirements
  • This included space planning changes, HVAC changes, changes to outdoor seating and heating regulations, ordering and operations alterations, and I often had to communicate these changes with local offices
  • I supervised both in-house staff and general contractors in the DC, Virginia, Maryland, and Louisiana locations.
