As a cashier at Buffalo Bar, I provide excellent customer service while increasing sales potential. I operate the cash register efficiently and accurately process payments by cash, card, gift card, and online payments. I greet customers and answer any questions they have about the store's products. I also assist customers over the phone regarding product information and place their orders. I issue receipts, refunds, or change due to customers. I follow proper policy and security when it comes to dealing with large sums of money. I perform other duties, such as making sure all shelves are stocked, maintaining cleanliness at the checkout area and dining area. I ensure all tables, floors, and restrooms are cleaned. I provide guidance and assistance to new hires during their training process, and ensure they understand their job.
I love being able to help others I am always willing to give a hand! I am a high school student and am in about 7 clubs. I have been apart of HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America), DECA (Distributive Education Clubs of America), Habitat for Humanity, for 3 years now! I have enjoyed being in these clubs. Each one has taught me varies skills. Joining HOSA allowed me the opportunity to volunteer at the Wellstar Kennestone Hospital. I enjoy being able to talk to patients and am glad I am able to help them in any way. Volunteering at the hospital has allowed me to gain experience the opportunity to make someone else's day batter. I love volunteering at the hospital because I get to help others and experience what its like working at a hospital. Being in DECA has allowed me to explore my leadership capabilities and expand them. I enjoy being in DECA because it had provided me with the skills and education I need to become a good leader. It also gave me an opportunity at getting an internship with AT&T. Being a member of Habitat for Humanity has allowed me the opportunity to help others build their home and see their happiness. It has also provided me with multiple community service opportunities. Which has helped me develop as a person and allowed me to help others. I love being able to help others and making them happy. Joining these clubs has given me the opportunity to meet other people in the club and outside the club. We have built communities and have helped one another and will continue doing. I joined HoPe (Hispanic Organization Promoting Education last year because I needed a community. In hope I learned that in life you do not have to be alone and with a community you can do anything. That same year I decided to apply as one of the legacy leader position and I made it. I am so glad I made that decision because now I a, able to help those who feel like they need a community. My goal for HoPe is to make other feel like they belong and they have someone to talk to. I want to help others as mush as I can. Last year I was apart of FFA (Future Framers of America) I was able to raise money for the club and participate in hands on activities, learn life skills and able to This year I decided to join Key Club, National Honor Society, Future Business Leaders of America, and Spanish club, I want to be able to get more community service opportunities and meet others. I know these clubs will give me the opportunity to work with other, make others happy, gain new skills, put the skills I have already to use, and be able to enjoy them. I work after school 5 out of the 7 days of the week. I enjoy working and enjoy being able to assist others.
Since I have entered high school I have made sure to keep a good GPA. At the moment I have a 3.9 GPA. I have taken Honor classes since freshman year and a couple AP. I have received student of the month. This year I also earned the role as a Legacy Leader for HoPe, I am VP of Education! My role is to provide educational workshops, resources, and opportunities for our members. I have finished two pathways at my high school one of them being Early Childhood and the other Basic Agriculture and have received two cords from them. I am working on finishing my Law pathway. I have received awards for my academic performance and my character. I hope to continue to develop as an individual and making others proud as well as being able to help them.
