Work History

Infantryman

  • I went to 22 weeks of infantry training at Fort Benning, Georgia. Where we learned many things. In shooting, fixing malfunctions, and maintaining many different weapons. CLS (Combat Lifesaver) course, and training on land navigation and reading a map.
  • For the year 2024, my unit was deployed overseas for nine months. There I was, a driver and gunner, as well as many other things.
  • I drove a total of 88 missions that went outside the wire, totaling over 6,000 miles driven around the country.
  • Contributed to several successful vehicle retrieval missions.
  • We also conducted prisoner escort missions, escorting up to 700 people across the border.
  • I was in charge of my vehicle, MAXX Pro, in keeping it maintained before and after missions, keeping it clean and safe on the inside, and talking with the mechanics if there were any problems.
  • I was also one of four SKL holders, a piece of sensitive equipment, in my company.
  • I loaded keys into our radios and other equipment every week. I also performed radio checks and kept up maintaining the radio's efficiency while on missions.
  • I also worked on the base, doing QRF, working the towers in 12-hour shifts, and searching personnel and vehicles entering the base. Also, escorting them around the base.
  • I've had many classes and experience with many weapons: M17, Remington M870, M4A1, M110A1, 249, 240., .50 cal, MRK19, and the ITAS.
