The Radiology Attendant transports patients to and from the Radiology Department safely and promptly according to established policies, procedures, and time schedules.

I worked as a cashier, which consisted of grabbing and sinking pizzas in the oven for customers, cleaning the store at the beginning and end of shifts, and counting money when we opened and closed. Additionally, I learned a little bit how to spin and make pizzas.

Drove a work truck to and from job sites, work included prepping the area for painting by sanding & putty. I also did exterior foundation painting and some interior work.

Worked various positions at Mcdonalds including grill, drive-thru window, front house cashier taking orders and money, cleaning lobby area and bathrooms.

This was a great experience for me. I gained great insight into what being a PA is like. Not only did I see a wide range of patients from pediatrics to seniors, and from bacterial infections to orthopedic injuries, but I really got to see all a PA can do. I learned that it's so much more than going into a room and diagnosing a patient, but reading the patient's profile, connecting with them, and really getting a background of what happened before they come into the office. Through this experience, I learned even more about what work is like and what it takes to be in this field.

During my shadowing experience with an orthopedic physician assistant, I observed their expertise in diagnosing and managing musculoskeletal conditions. They worked closely with the supervising physician, conducted patient assessments, assisted in procedures like joint injections, and provided patient education on treatment plans and recovery. Their ability to balance technical skills with compassionate care left a lasting impression and deepened my interest in healthcare.

Lifeguarded community neighborhood pools, tested the pools for proper chemicals/pH, and ensured they were safe to swim in.
