• As a Tax Preparer, I was responsible for assisting my clients in filing tax returns, contacting the IRS on their behalf and answering tax related questions

Tropical Fruit and Plant Genetics

• Used CRISPR cas-9 technology to modify vanilla plant genomes in order to improve crop production and yield.
• Prepared cultivation media to assist my mentor with micropropagation.
• Did DNA testing on a variety of tropical fruits. This includes using NanoDrop and Gel Electrophoresis technology to determine the
  viability of certain DNA samples.
• Worked to develop a new, innovative and cheaper method of Cymbidium mosaic virus testing along side my mentor using PCR technology.

• Carry out experiments and research according to protocols laid out by primary researchers.
• Traveled to field sites to collect and record data and samples as appropriate to specific objectives of study.
• Collected and logged experimental data while utilizing various laboratory techniques such as NanoDrop and Qubit quantification for accurate DNA concentration measurement. I also conducted PCR amplification, DNA extraction, and gel electrophoresis to amplify and analyze specific DNA sequences.
• Worked both independently and collaboratively in fast-paced laboratory environment.
