  • As the ASC for the Region, the responsibilities include but are not limited to a variety of tasks: coordination of budget functions including the development and maintenance of the annual regional budget, tracking and analyzing expenditures, ensuring appropriate management and allocation of funds; preparing budget journals, performing budget reconciliations, communicating the status of regional budgets to management and budget staff, processing physical receipts and invoices and responding to vendor and accounts payable inquiries regarding payment as requested. Purchasing all necessary items to meet the needs of the region while following Comptroller of Public Accounts (CPA) and Agency policies. Additionally, assistance provided to the Regional Director, Section Managers and Regional staff with preparation of policies and procedures related to insurance benefits, agency benefits, promotions, and merit increases, etc., along with general human resources management actions, new employee orientation and staff exiting employment. Performing assessment needs of office building and/or equipment and coordinates related maintenance, repair, installation, renewals and/or purchases. Coordinates administrative work between sections and departments of the agency and, appropriate, with local, state, and federal agencies or private organizations when necessary. Submission of required documents within the agency (organization charts, etc.) in a timely manner. Additionally, assisting other regions if needed (purchasing, entries/errors with CAPPS, etc.) or any other issues that assistance can be provided for.   • Assisted the flight department at NPR with coordination of the daily flight operations for passengers and pilots alike for a minimum of three aircraft, of which some required acquiring clearance for foreign flights into and out of the states. Manifests were maintained both internally and submitted to general aviation databases. Most all flights required ground transportation reservations along with accommodations that were scheduled through nationwide FBO relations and assembled on itineraries then distributed to the passengers and crew. The flight department SOP/OPP manuals were created and maintained as the Flight Operation Manuals along with other forms and reports for both internal and external use. All flight data was maintained and reported to appropriated staff including flight days, destinations, flight hours, miles, and all flight expenses. Maintenance and coordination of all flight related expenses were processed and submitted for payment and/pr reimbursements as required.
