I have spent much of my career in the hospitality industry working for VISIT DENVER. My first role was as a Sales Coordinator where I assisted the Directors of Sales. I had a small part in helping to bring the Democratic National Convention to Denver in 2008. My first promotion was as a Membership Services Manager. In this capacity, I maintained our large membership database, as well as planned a fundraising golf tournament, a silent auction as well as an annual gala for the hospitality industry in Denver. In 2008 I became a Convention Services Manager where I helped meeting and event planners with events being held in Denver. In 2010 I shifted to part time. This provided me the opportunity to work a variety of roles within the organization. Ultimately, I ended up starting my own contracting business which I still maintain today.
