As front desk coordinator, my duties entailed managing appointments as per clients' requests (i.e. booking, rescheduling, and canceling appointments) via phone and in person, answering clients' questions about offered services, retail products, and current specials. Maintaining the front desk and surrounding area to always look presentable for clients upon entering the salon, keeping an organized system for new clients’ paperwork, taking card, cash, and checks for payment upon completion of the clients service, communicating with stylists and estheticians' about their clients current or upcoming appointments or to change a salon service ticket when needed and of course always being friendly and welcoming upon clients entering the salon.
As the lead hostess at Benedicts La Strata I Greeted and seated guests, took register transactions which included checking customers out, taking to-go and catering orders over the phone. Ensuring all to-go orders were correct for the customer upon bagging a take out order, assisting management with social media operations, communicating effectively with servers, fellow, kitchen staff and managers regarding restaurant operations, making drinks for servers and to-go orders as needed, enhancing productivity by keeping an organized list for seating servers. Being knowledgeable about the menu and current specials. Most importantly as lead hostess, I trained all new hosts ensuring they were fully aware of how to be a host as well as how to operate the POS system and how the restaurant operates.
At Butterfly Spa I greeted clients promptly upon them arriving for their appointment, checked them in and out of their appointments, kept the front area tidy and refreshments always stocked, laundered and folded towels and bedding, and became fully knowledgeable about all services the spa offered.
