Direct community engagement and philanthropic initiatives in partnership with Aramark Corporation, for Chicago Public Schools (CPS). Develop and implement school nutrition and facility management educational programs; and oversee regional strategic philanthropy. Work in collaboration with multiple nonprofit organizations and community stakeholders to promote nutrition and wellness education, food equity and clean environment programs.

Philanthropy & Partnerships

  • Lead grant and scholarship strategy development, implementation and compliance.

  • Created Culinary Pipeline Workforce Internship program for culinary students, providing post-secondary college scholarships, leadership development and culinary career training opportunities.
  • Coordinate college and career exploration tours at Aramark client accounts (hospitals, colleges, banks, and sports venues) to expose students to universities and potential career fields.
  • Developed Facilities Services Pipeline Workforce program in partnership with faith community organizations, resulting in 100 hires within two years.
