  • Team Collaboration: I was assigned to a team, and my team leader provided me with a list of consumers for whom I began to assume accountability
  • Consumer Needs and Documentation: I ensured that the consumers' needs were met and met the mandatory documentation requirements, including quarterly treatment plans, biannual LOCUS assessments, monthly reports, and SIRP-format billing documentation (for which I was trained)
  • Resource Familiarity: I became familiar with the resources and service locations throughout the District of Columbia
  • Independent Living Skills: I taught and assisted clients with independent living skills, such as public transportation, budgeting, nutrition planning, and social skills
  • Benefits Coordination: I assisted with applications and coordination of entitlement benefits, including SSI/SSDI, Medicare, Medicaid, Food
  • Stamps, and housing subsidies
  • Client Visits: I visited clients throughout the District of Columbia
