  • Health plans generally combine a high deductible health insurance policy with a tax-sheltered account that enrollees can use to finance their ‘out of pocket’ health care costs (those not covered by policy)
  • Two primary types of accounts are HSAs – Health Savings Accounts and HRAs – Health Reimbursement Arrangements
  • Incorporating both medical and prescription coverage into these plans, concept of ‘Integrated Benefits Plan’ emerged where data sharing occurs between pharmacy benefit providers (PBM) and medical benefit providers
  • From CVS Caremark perspective, acting as PBM, this involves sharing pharmacy accumulations (deductible and out of pocket amounts) with client directly or with a third party integrator (a medical or Consumer Driven Healthcare (CDH) provider that maintains medical claims for client)

  • Act as ITIL Technical Operations Manager to manage and monitor CDH-MT, IBMR and QL applications and support staff on24x5 basis
