Anisley Leyva Ricardo

For 14 years, I worked as a nurse at the Clinical Surgical Hospital in Cuba, where I developed advanced skills in managing critical patients and gained extensive experience in intensive care. My responsibilities included continuous patient assessment and monitoring, medication and treatment administration, and operating specialized medical equipment. I also collaborated closely with multidisciplinary teams, responded to emergencies, and provided education to patients and their families. Additionally, I supervised and trained nursing staff and performed complex invasive procedures.

After relocating to the United States, I worked as a Home Health Aide (HHA) for two years, providing personalized care and support to patients in their homes. I then served for two and a half years as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), specializing in behavioral interventions and support.

I furthered my education at Miami Regional University, a prestigious institution, where I earned my Registered Nurse (RN) designation in 2021. This comprehensive training has provided me with a strong theoretical and practical foundation, preparing me to address the challenges of healthcare in a diverse and demanding environment.
