Volunteer Experience

  • Citywide PTO President 01/2002-2009 oversees all the local school chapter PTO's in organizing citywide events. Specifically those events created and run by the Concord Police Department, such as the National Bike Safety Day, and National Night Out. Although the local chapter of the Citywide PTO is no longer, the events with Concord Police Department are still organized events I still partake in.
  • American Cancer Society Breast Cancer Walk,Volunteer and Board Member 2006-2020. Volunteered with the American Cancer Society at the annual Breast Cancer Walk in Concord NH. Held ambassadors role for several years, overseeing all aspects of facilitating the walk on day of event. For three years was head of food and catering for the event after the walk concluded. Organizing vendors, food, drink, and service for walkers, all food and vendors were provided on a volunteered basis.
  • General Federation of Women's Club 2009-2014, President 2011-2014 GFWC works locally and nationally to bring about positive change with an unwavering dedication to community improvement through volunteer service. With the local chapter within my community I lead a group of diverse women in community projects, effecting positive social change through the spirit of volunteerism. Creating projects/donations within our local homeless shelters, and domestic violence shelter. Upholding the local chapters scholarship program for a local deserving graduate. Providing essential needs to organizations such as the SPCA, UNICEF, The American Cancer Society, Friends of Forgotten Children, and many more. With the help of all within our group I was able to lead and collaborate on many projects that provided for our community in a positive and ethical manner.
