I am currently licensed in Georgia as a Registered Nurse and a Paramedic. I have extensive knowledge in the medical field and have worked in healthcare for the past 30 years. I have been a Paramedic for 26 years and decided to further my career by obtaining my RN degree. I worked on an ALS unit for the first 12 years of my career, starting out as an EMT before becoming a Paramedic. I served as a shift supervisor for 5 years. I then chose to go into the hospital setting and work in a Cardiac Stress Lab as an Acute Care Paramedic for 12 years with NGHS. I served as interim supervisor in the Stress Lab for 3 years before deciding to obtain my RN degree. I currently work as an RN in the Cardiac Observation Unit with NGHS and have been there for the past 2 + years. I also currently work PRN for NGHS Satellite Oncology Infusion Clinic. Prior to my current position in COU, I worked at an outpatient surgery center as a PreOp/PACU RN. I am seeking a position with you based on my experience and knowledge. I bring multiple years of experience and professionalism to the areas of acute and critical care medicine along with surgical services and most recently oncology.
