As a senior level nurse, provide advanced level nursing care. Provide nursing care on a 10-bed surgical/trauma ICU (224-bed Level I Regional Trauma Center).

Serve as an integral member on the CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy) team.

Responsible for supervising Licensed Practical Nurses. Function as Charge Nurse, responsible for overseeing 5 to 7 personnel.

Liaise with medical team members (physical therapists, respiratory therapists, nurses, physicians etc.)

Serve as a patient care advocate.

After acquiring my BSN for a short time assisted in the simulation lab. Worked with audio equipment along with maintaining mannequins and all equipment used in the school of nursing.

Senior level duties In the ICU/CCU environments, ranging from Level I Trauma to Level 5 hospitals, SICU/TICU, Open Heart patients, and a large Neuro patient population.
