EBMS (Eligibility and Benefit Management Systems) - WPAO
The WPAO project is to support the implementation of the EBMS project and also to help the TDHS staff speed up their processing and troubleshoot their work by generating reports and publishing. It included analysis, validation of the various reports, and required data fixes. It is a workload, process automation, and optimization.
Responsibilities:
- Analysis and validation of the various reports, such as CAT reports, SNAP APT analysis, appointment analysis and tracking, task analysis, daily Ops executive reports, etc.
- Created and updated Oracle SQL queries based on business requests.
- Most of the recurring reports are automated with Python scripts on a Linux server, and some are with Excel macros.
- Provided leadership by training team members, monitoring their performance, and validating their work to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Data fixes are implemented based on business requests by generating Java batch code and SQL scripts in different environments.
Environment: Java 11, Eclipse, Oracle SQL Developer, Excel Macro, SharePoint, Python Scripts, Linux Server, AWS Cloud, Visual Studio Code.
Box – TDHS Document Management System - ECM
- Led a team in designing and implementing a document management system for DHS, in collaboration with the external vendor, BOX, to store documents and metadata for Family Assistance and Child Care operations.
- Developed the folder structure, metadata templates, user and group configurations, reports, customized APIs, and a customized customer portal application utilizing Box CLI, Box interface, and Python scripts.
Responsibilities:
- Created Box download, upload, search metadata, and view document API for several interfaces consuming Box as the document store.
- Create and update the metadata API for several portals, such as the worker portal, customer portal, provider portal, staff portal, vendor mail, kiosk, and licensing portal.
- Created a Box application, designed the folder structure, and meta-data templates, etc.
- Created user groups and roles, and app users for several Pods.
- Used Box CLI and Python scripts for several batch/bulk processing.
- Load-tested each application via Bamboo.
- Led the team to a successful implementation of the Enterprise Content Management System for TDHS.
Environment: Java 11, Maven, Spring Boot, Eclipse, Box CLI, Red Hat OpenShift, 3Scale, Jira, Bitbucket, Bamboo, Vault, and Confluence, Python scripts, Box SDK, and microservices.
Legacy System to Modernization Applications
Responsibilities:
- Helped in the migration of all the legacy applications to EBMS, ServiceNow portals, and BOX ECM.
- I learned ServiceNow and found it helpful in maintenance.
- Design the Box folder structure and implement the Box API to use for all the interfaces.
- Worked closely with our implementation partner to resolve incidents and requests from the business, ensuring that any problems or changes are addressed quickly and effectively, to minimize disruptions to operations. For example, this has included managing Intake Batch date changes during the holidays, and user allocations for the Renewal batch.
- Supported the SRMS to ServiceNow migration, verified the work requests, and worked on the logged production incidents.
- Demonstrated the updated FA 2.0 project and other business rules to the external vendor, and directed them to accomplish the business needs.
- Worked with external vendors, such as Incapsulate, KPMG, and Deloitte.
- Helpful in the successful rollout of EBMS, IVR, and ACCENT migrations.
DHS Systems and maintenance
I worked on various DHS systems, including EAV, State Measures, FACCL, FARAS, Vendor Mail, OGC Tracking System, FA Online, Child Care File Upload, Public File Upload, FA Online Indexing, FARAS Indexing, and Desktop File Upload, among others.
Responsibilities:
- Maintenance of legacy applications, such as FARAS and FACCL.
- Doing the purge process of data and documents as per the business retention policy, etc.
- Smoke and WAPT testing on each server updates.
- Writing ad-hoc queries for business reports.
- Led the migration of the documents to the NAS drive.
- I participated in HSVC training workshops and supported IT management by leading fellow team members.
- Identified options that are available to develop or modify an existing system, such as vendor mail process automation.
- Led the PRP project, which will use a web API to interact with the Adobe Mega Sign system.
- Implemented DTS packages and SSRS reports for the PRP project.
- Troubleshoot the EAV project.
- During the government shutdown, I created many reports and automated these reports.
