EBMS (Eligibility and Benefit Management Systems) - WPAO

The WPAO project is to support the implementation of the EBMS project and also to help the TDHS staff speed up their processing and troubleshoot their work by generating reports and publishing. It included analysis, validation of the various reports, and required data fixes. It is a workload, process automation, and optimization.

Responsibilities:

• Analysis and validation of the various reports, such as CAT reports, SNAP APT analysis, appointment analysis and tracking, task analysis, daily Ops executive reports, etc.
• Created and updated Oracle SQL queries based on business requests.
• Most of the recurring reports are automated with Python scripts on a Linux server, and some are with Excel macros.
• Provided leadership by training team members, monitoring their performance, and validating their work to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Data fixes are implemented based on business requests by generating Java batch code and SQL scripts in different environments.

Box – TDHS Document Management System - ECM

• Led a team in designing and implementing a document management system for DHS, in collaboration with the external vendor, BOX, to store documents and metadata for Family Assistance and Child Care operations.
• Developed the folder structure, metadata templates, user and group configurations, reports, customized APIs, and a customized customer portal application utilizing Box CLI, Box interface, and Python scripts.

Responsibilities:

• Created Box download, upload, search metadata, and view document API for several interfaces consuming Box as the document store.
• Create and update the metadata API for several portals, such as the worker portal, customer portal, provider portal, staff portal, vendor mail, kiosk, and licensing portal.
• Created a Box application, designed the folder structure, and meta-data templates, etc.
• Created user groups and roles, and app users for several Pods.
• Used Box CLI and Python scripts for several batch/bulk processing.
• Load-tested each application via Bamboo.
• Led the team to a successful implementation of the Enterprise Content Management System for TDHS.

Legacy System to Modernization Applications

Responsibilities:

• Helped in the migration of all the legacy applications to EBMS, ServiceNow portals, and BOX ECM.
• I learned ServiceNow and found it helpful in maintenance.
• Design the Box folder structure and implement the Box API to use for all the interfaces.
• Worked closely with our implementation partner to resolve incidents and requests from the business, ensuring that any problems or changes are addressed quickly and effectively, to minimize disruptions to operations. For example, this has included managing Intake Batch date changes during the holidays, and user allocations for the Renewal batch.
• Supported the SRMS to ServiceNow migration, verified the work requests, and worked on the logged production incidents.
• Demonstrated the updated FA 2.0 project and other business rules to the external vendor, and directed them to accomplish the business needs.
• Worked with external vendors, such as Incapsulate, KPMG, and Deloitte.
• Helpful in the successful rollout of EBMS, IVR, and ACCENT migrations.

DHS Systems and maintenance

I worked on various DHS systems, including EAV, State Measures, FACCL, FARAS, Vendor Mail, OGC Tracking System, FA Online, Child Care File Upload, Public File Upload, FA Online Indexing, FARAS Indexing, and Desktop File Upload, among others.

Responsibilities:

• Maintenance of legacy applications, such as FARAS and FACCL.
• Doing the purge process of data and documents as per the business retention policy, etc.
• Smoke and WAPT testing on each server updates.
• Writing ad-hoc queries for business reports.
• Led the migration of the documents to the NAS drive.
• I participated in HSVC training workshops and supported IT management by leading fellow team members.
• Identified options that are available to develop or modify an existing system, such as vendor mail process automation.
• Led the PRP project, which will use a web API to interact with the Adobe Mega Sign system.
• Implemented DTS packages and SSRS reports for the PRP project.

Mail Vendor – FARAS

• This project is to create a DHS centralized mail processing center for Shelby and Davidson County
• DHS is partnering with DGS to receive incoming mail for our Family Assistance offices in the two indicated counties, scan the mail to a document imaging system, and make the documents available to the DHS Eligibility Counselors in a more timely manner
• The goal is to become more efficient with the receipt and distribution of mail which will ultimately improve work flow and business processes as we strive to provide better customer service within Family Assistance
• Responsibilities:

• The main purpose of this project is to support the APS worker in documenting and managing the casework for handling reports of abuse/neglect/exploitation incidents from receipt of the incident report or referral, through investigation and any continuing intervention provided by APS
• This project contains very complicated workflows depending on the allegations and sensitivity of the cases
• Responsibilities:

• Customized script is hosted on the Lexmark server in the Data center
• PDF 417 barcode is interpreted for the document key along with the location of the document and updated in the SQL server

• It scans both the side of the document and eliminates the blank pages
• It display proper error message to the user on the Lexmark touch screen

• Responsibilities:
• Web application is developed to manage scanned and attached documents
• Documents with extensions such as pdf, tiff can be uploaded using the application, which will later converted to an OCR searchable pdf document
• Customized Lexmark directory watcher is used to convert these uploaded documents to readable format
• Converted documents can be verified and downloaded from this application

• This project is developed to deliver electronic documents scanned at the rate of 4600+ per day to 2900 case workers throughout the state
• Department of Human Services receives Family Assistance Renewal application and verification documents in the mail and then delivers them to the appropriate case worker
• The case worker used the paper documents during the applicant interview process
• An automated solution was needed so that the case worker used scanned images
• The images also needed to be matched to the applicant’s interview appointment
• This would make the applicant documents available to the case workers immediately and eliminate the lag time of physical delivery
• Responsibilities:
• Renewals functionality is implemented using C#, ASP.Net to search, view and delete the renewal scanned documents

• This project is to deliver the next generation analytical tool suite to the US Business for analysis of product mix, sales, and day part sales data from all US Restaurants
• This tool suite serves the needs of US Business Research, US Management, US Marketing, Menu Management, US Financial Consulting and Advertising Agencies
• The end result should be a single source of truth for data
• A standard tool set is established that is rich in functionality and flexible to the various audiences
• The recommendations are in line with the Global Information Assurance strategy for business intelligence solutions, standards and global data model
• Responsibilities:
• Worked on Promotion Evaluation (Promo Eval) module which contains major process such as promotional incremental impact, gross profit and net profit Evaluation
• Designed and Developed an Intranet site under the Microsoft .NET framework
• Architected and rebuilt using .Net Framework which includes exposing COM Components to the .NET Framework, Web Services, ASP.Net, VB.Net, ADO.NET with an intension to serve different clients both national and international
