• Designing capacity management framework for corporate internet group applications. Analyzing the workload, correlating system utilization metrics with workload to gauge the business demand and growth. Making sure the all the applications and system have enough resources to handle the current load and meet future growth in terms of both transactions per second and user logons.
• Study the application architecture, current and historical workload, utilization metrics
• Monitor the core system utilization metrics for performance attributes like CPU, Memory, I/O etc.
• Correlate the daily logons with the system utilization metrics to ensure the systems have enough resources to support the current workload as well as future growth
• Create Weekly, Monthly and quarterly capacity dashboards for higher management and business owners
• Design capacity roadmap for IBM P7 virtualization platforms
