band and lab orders with specimen.

Wash hands prior to Introducing self to patient. Evaluate and explain to patient prior to
procedure, notify health doctor on any abnormal changes and information.

Assist health care providers on set up and procedures and treatments plan for either male veteran or female veteran.

Set up procedure trays or instruments needed: sutures, Pap smear supplies, scopes, lamps.

Efficient in performing task...EKGs, bladder scans, ear, Eye and Wound irrigation,
Orthostatic blood pressure Q15 mins, Peak flow test, CBGs, Visual Acuity, Vital signs-BP,
Oxygen saturation, Height/weight measurement, and Collecting specimen urine, Wound
and Sputum culture

Administered diagnostic tests by identifying correct patients, Right diagnosis and Right
treatment plan..

Observe patient during procedure and changes in patient treatment condition or for any
adverse reaction and take corrective action base on policy and procedure within the
facility or clinic, and notify attend physician or RN.

Take self initiative to clean exam rooms and re-stock supplies as indicated by the needs of
patient or health care providers.

knowledgeable in eye and ear irrigation.

Highly skill in IV placement and lab draws: various lab tubes needed for test.

Document in CPRS on treatment given and educated patient self care after procedure and provide quality care for patient.

Utilize and follow established Veteran Hospital Nurses guideline, and under the supervision
of health care professional, Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health care Organization on(JCAHO).

Document patient information relating to pre-testing or post procedure activities: Cat
scan, x-rays, bladder scan.

Knowledgeable Foley Catheter placement various sizes, continuous bladder irrigation.
"CBI" measurement of I & O of foley care.

Educating patient on Foley care. Perform patient support by Educating patient care upon discharge to home,

Educate patient on wound care, irrigation and dressing change.

Educate patient on adaptive equipment, 4 point walker, or crutches. glucose-meter,
peak flow meters, and blood pressure perimeters, transfer from stretcher to w/c and w/c to stretcher. Stand by assist with use of gait belt.

Perform wound irrigation: apply proper dressing open wounds, burns, and surgical site, per doctors orders.

Promote physical independence of patient self care technique and daily living skills.
