I work one-on-one with a student to help him stay caught up in his classes, manage his emotional regulation, and fulfill the services given in his IEP. I go through this student's whole school day with him and I get to help him in many different aspects, especially socially. I try to help him understand different social cues and implement coping strategies to regulate his emotions.
I served a full-time proselyting mission. I spent a year of my missionary service in YSA wards, so I was able to spend a lot of time and connect with young adults in and out of the church.
I worked with customers and helped them find the books they were looking for. I was responsible for a lot of organization and inventory in the store, making sure that products were listed online correctly and that our storage and shelves stayed organized.
I was working for two families during this time. One family had two teenage daughters who I was responsible for, I helped them get to and from school and their extracurriculars, I made them food, cleaned, and made sure they got their chores done. The other family had twin toddlers, I was responsible for entertaining them, feeding them, and putting them to bed. In both families, I was just responsible for providing the typical care the kids needed.
My mission helped me in developing skills like teaching experience, leadership and training, organization, hard work, and connecting with new people quickly I am empathetic and try to be aware of those around me I really enjoy getting to know people, especially youth and young adults I am a positive person and look for the best in people and situations I am in
