Summary

Experienced nurse with a strong background in long-term care and acute care settings. Began nursing career as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and Certified Medication Technician (CMT) in a nursing home, acquiring valuable hands-on experience over a decade. Expanded skills as a Nurse Extern on an Orthopedic Unit during nursing school, then transitioned to the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) after graduation, excelling in providing personalized care to patients. Needing more knowledge to take care of the critical care patient I advanced my career even more by becoming an ICU RN, where I stayed for 6 years. I then discovered true passion in the fast-paced Cath Lab, where I have been working as an RN since 2018. Continuous learning opportunities in the Cath Lab have fueled my enthusiasm for the profession, making it the highlight of my nursing career thus far.

Daisy Award, 2016, I received this at Hardin Memorial Hospital when I worked in the CCU. A patient and family were very appreciative of the care I gave them. The patient continued to go into V-Tach and I continued to call MD to get the orders I needed. I reassured family and patient that their disorder was being managed.
