  • Began and learned of fund raising efforts as a financial and budget manager at Furrs Supermarkets in 1999. Tasked with coordinating golf tournaments to elevate Furrs recognition in the community by giving back to the community during the holidays.
  • Since then, throughout the years through current, I was contracted or asked by various non-for-profits, retailers, organizations and political entities to organize or assist fund raising events and initiatives.

  • 2008 - 2009 Hired by a local native owned solar power company, Sacred Power, to create an alcohol distribution center in the Sawmill District, which proceeds would fund the first native NASCAR driver, which in turn the proceeds would fund several educational and housing structures throughout the local native pueblos. Also coordinated golf tournaments to raise money for various native representatives and senators.
  • 2009 - 2012 Contracted by local defense attorney, Tim Padilla, to create a business importing a specific high end tequila to raise funds for public defense fees as needed.
  • 2018 - 2023 Fund raised on behalf of UNM for several local non-for-profit charities.
  • 2021 - 2023 Fund raised for Rebecca Dow campaign running for NM Governor (R). Fund raised for The Rape Crisis Center.

  • Applied for and was awarded over $1.5m in federal grant monies, in addition to other Mill Levy monies, to develop, coordinate, and administer the largest Financial Literacy and Income Tax Preparation program in UNM's and Bernalillo County's history. The goal was not only successful in reducing poverty, homelessness and financial illiteracy amongst Bernalillo County's most underserved populations, but educated community partners in personal money matters and political leaders with in-depth insight on real life risks and solutions.
  • Worked with UNM's School of Law Dean to recruit and train senior year law students to assist with providing free income tax preparation clinics to underserved populations.
  • Organized productive meetings to connect and strengthen relationships amongst local political leaders, community partners and clients alike.
  • Developed strong relationships with large organizations such the IRS, NM Tax and Rev, Social Security, Albuquerque Public Schools McKinny-Vento Program, City of Albuquerque's Bank on Burque program (Credit Unions, Wells Fargo, Chase Bank and Bank of America), Tax Help NM, and local IRS regulated VITA program.
