4 and COVID vaccinations for between 80-130 patients a day. We rotated drawing up 11+ different vaccines that we kept track of the number of doses, temperatures and reconstituted those that needed to be reconstituted. We worked with Moderna, Pfizer, primary and bivalent for all ages 6months and up. We filled out COVID Cards, gave return dates for people to come back for their second doses. Took care of patients who had reactions to getting vaccinated, or getting a shot. Kept an eye on patients after receiving vaccination for a short period of time while continuing to give more vaccines. This was through Medasource for Lane County Public Health from October 2022-December 2022, then we were given the option to hire on with Lane County Public Health to work with them and go out into the community and do clinics in places that provided vaccines to underserved populations in Lane County. Working in smaller groups with less resources and still a lot of people doing what we were doing in a controlled environment. Gathering our supplies to take out to locations, set up, and be mindful of our we might encounter. We sometimes would work with 2 people running a clinic and seeing up to 50 people, or we could have 5 people running a clinic and see anywhere from 5 to 100 people ages 6 months to 100 years. Giving them the post immunization signs and symptoms, care instructions. When to seek medical attention. When they can get the next vaccine, or if there is another. Lots of information and education to give. This job ended due to funding for COVID-19 vaccines.
