Anna Kometer

Working on a multidisciplinary team to provide support and care for individuals on an acute care unit. Responsible for the treatment planing, individual therapy, documentation, and therapy group facilitation of 25 patients. Responsible for educating patients in DBT/CBT interventions. Cross-trained to assist with case management to be able to provide referrals and participate in discharge planning for patients.

Provides outpatient therapeutic services for both individuals and families with a variety of mental health challenges, including concerns with marriage, past trauma, anger management, and personality disorders. Responsible for all treatment planning and caseload management.

Provided individual and couples therapy to over 25 clients over the course of 1 year. Utilized psychodynamic, Dialectical Behavioral, and Person-centered interventions to help clients gain insight and mastery over their mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, and marital concerns.
