I truly adore caring for and talking with my residents. I enjoy learning about their different personalities and building meaningful connections with them. When assisting residents with bathing or helping them use the bathroom—tasks that can sometimes feel embarrassing—I make a point to talk with them to help them feel more comfortable and at ease. Whether it’s small talk about the weather, football, travel experiences, or any topic they choose, I believe conversation helps create trust and dignity.
