My primary role as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner includes diagnosing and treating mental
health conditions in adolescents and adults through psychotherapy and medication management. This includes conducting initial patient evaluations, obtaining thorough medical and psychiatric histories, interpreting symptoms and behaviors considering various psychiatric and psychological conditions, providing comprehensive explanations of pharmacologic interventions, delicately adjusting psychiatric medications to maximize symptoms control and improve patient outcomes. My responsibilities have expanded to include administering trans-magnetic stimulation (TMS) to patients, administering Spravato and monitoring patients during their treatment, writing office policies and procedures, collaborating to form practice protocols, and developing a new branch of Magnetic Hope's mental health treatment that includes metabolic and functional wellness.
