Anna Orsa

Dynamic and dedicated professional with experience as a Peer Tutor and Assistant Volunteer Coach at Iceoplex Simi Valley. Skilled in fostering teamwork and employing motivation strategies to enhance student performance. Known for reliability and critical thinking, successfully guiding students to achieve their academic goals while maintaining a safe and supportive environment.

I have been a competitive figure skater for nine years and have participated in the synchronized skating team for five consecutive years. Through these years I was able to attend sectional competitions alongside level National competitions.

In addition, I was able to take part in an opportunity to fundraiser for cancer research. Through fundraising out front of stores and publicizing our cause in the Simi Valley Acorn, our team raised a total of $100,000.

Achieved a top 11 national ranking as part of a competitive synchronized skating team, demonstrating strong teamwork, commitment, and the ability to perform under pressure. Balanced a demanding training schedule with academic responsibilities, sharpening my time management, communication, and leadership skills.

As President of the Environmental Club, I organized impactful activities such as a community hike and trash cleanup to promote environmental stewardship. I am also an active member of the National Honor Society and the California Scholarship Federation (CSF), through which I have completed extensive volunteer work. My service includes assisting young children at St. Peter Claver Church, supporting athletes at the Special Olympics, and helping raise awareness for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Additionally, I volunteer as a skating coach at Iceoplex Simi Valley, where I help young-level skaters find a joy for ice skating, combining my passion for ice skating with mentorship and community service.
