Accomplishments

  • I earned my BS in Early Childhood and Special Education, as well as my Associates Degree in Art from Middle Georgia State College (formerly known as Macon State College) in 2012. I have been a loyal employee to the Bibb County School District serving the program for exceptional children for 12 years. During my journey, I have had the pleasure of working with and learning about children of all ages in grades K-5. While employed by the Bibb County School District, I received an award for writing high-quality and legally compliant IEP’s (Individualized Education Programs) for exceptional children. In addition, I was recognized as the most creative teacher and the special education teacher of the student’s who showed the most academic growth in Math and English Language Arts during the 2022-2023 school year.
