I have spent the three years of my life working with students individually in a multitude of ways. I understand that general education is different, with less time for each student. I feel that my experience will transfer in important ways, particularly for those students who require more one-on-one; I have gained many skills in addressing the group while still being able to focus on individual needs. I do see the challenges ahead as I enter a general education environment, bu I look forward to finding the appropriate ways to connect with students and help them to not only understand the value of their education but also the necessity for it. I hope to make an impact.
