I am Anna Winsness, a dedicated dental hygienist eager to embark on a rewarding career in oral healthcare. I received my Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene with Cum Laude honors from Augusta University in 2024, which has equipped me with a solid foundation of clinical knowledge and practical skills. I have spent the past year applying what I have learned from school to the real world of dentistry.
Throughout my academic journey as well as my early career, I have demonstrated a consistent commitment to excellence and a strong desire to provide compassionate care to patients. My experiences in school and in the real world have not only sharpened my clinical skills, but have also instilled in me the importance of effective communication and collaboration within multidisciplinary healthcare teams. I had the privilege of working with dental students through my schooling as well as experienced dentists in private practices. I have also been able to treat a wide variety of patients from different cultural backgrounds, which has taught me to mold my treatments to fit every patient's needs.
I am very enthusiastic about contributing to the well-being of individuals within our community. I am eager to use my education, dedication to patient-centered care, and keen eye for detail to make a positive impact in the field of dentistry. I also look forward to building strong relationships with patients and helping them find a dental home that they look forward to visiting consistently.
