My name is Bella, and I'm an Indigenous birth worker committed to expanding access to culturally informed, community centered care among at-risk populations. I'm trained and certified as both an Indigenous Lactation Counselor and a Full-Spectrum Doula, and I'm enrolled on the Michigan Doula Registry. Currently, I am pursuing an Associate Degree in Nursing at Northwestern Michigan College with the intention of becoming a Registered Nurse and IBCLC so that I can better serve my community and do my part in improving maternal and infant health outcomes in the United States.
