  • Uses EMT knowledge to provide initial treatment for injuries incurred during fires such as burns, bug bites, dehydration, heat related illness, and muscle injuries.
  • Patrols the line looking for hotspots, flare ups, and slop overs that could negatively impact the green side of the line. Immediately takes steps to mitigate the threat to the line.
  • Participates in constructing line by using hand tools in order to protect archeological sites, structures, and to slow the progression of the fire.
