Accomplishments

  • Collaborated with the team of IT, physicians, pharmacist and coders in the development of Kaiser Hawaii's KP HealthConnect Oncology Beacon Module. Beacon was created to standardize chemotherapy, enhance safety, and simplify ordering and administration of complex medications.
  • Member of Kaiser's National Nursing Beacon group. This is a collaborative nursing group that meets monthly responsible for developing the nursing orders for each standardize Beacon treatment plan.
  • Member of Kaiser's Labor Management Partnership Unit Based Team. A team of frontline employees, managers, pharmacist and physicians whose work bring them together to collaborate to improve member and patient care.
