As a San Francisco Native, growing up in a culture where if help was needed it was given, inspires me to give back to the people from the community and others when in need in some shape or form. I enjoy learning new things, meeting people and growing in new environments, which is why I am in the Automotive Industry. In this industry, things are always evolving and there is always room for growth. With electric cars becoming more popular I believe it is important for this industry to have trustworthy knowledgeable individuals that are motivated to learn and assist consumers with confidence and minimal errors. I am Hazmat Certified and have experience with many different systems used in this industry such as Collision Link, Parts Trader, CDK Global, Dealertrack, MyKarma and CCC One Collision Repair.
As a parts manager, I spend time organizing and distributing information, materials and parts needed for our Body and Mechanical shop. I regularly maintain an accurate shop production spreadsheet and follow up with other departments on shop productivity, statuses on repair order arrivals. This ensures timely completion of repairs and maintenance, increasing overall customer satisfaction. I've also established relationships with other repair shops, vendors, and dealerships in order to undergo efficient and prompt ordering processes while reducing the shops cost. I manage my departments incoming inventory, stock and returns on a daily basis, to confirm accuracy and preventing discrepancies between physical counts and system records. Implementing an improved inventory management system has created a much more secure procedure and loss prevention.
As a Parts Advisor at Marin Mazda, I helped front counter customers within a timely manner to solve any issues with vehicle repairs. Additionally I manage our online store and fulfilled any orders that including parts we had in stock and needed to be ordered form our warehouse. Our department revenue had a huge contribution from our wholesale side, there was no specific person for this role as we had a culture that was team based and we helped on another out to ensure wholesale customer satisfaction. Occasionally I would oversee the back counter and assist technicians with parts needed and part estimates for repair recommendations. On weekend I did our stock freight check in and invoice coding. During my time at Mazda I was trained to become a parts master and hazmat certified. Being certified allowed me to package and ship our hazardous waste and products back to the manufacture or proper deposals.
