• Following my passions, I launched a floral business which started small but has grown to be a flourishing business that services weddings, large events, organizes floral classes, and provides styling services for events and magazine shoots.
• Day to Day management of finances, appointments, and scheduling.
• Hiring and managing of seasonal workers to help with larger events and with the busy wedding seasons.
• Communication and planning with various businesses in the community to maintain healthy working relationships and to plan joint events.
• Managing social media accounts and other forms of advertising, such as magazine and newspaper ads.

• As the head florist, I am responsible for the planning and execution of floral arrangements and styling for all events scheduled.
• Planning and running of client meetings, which includes meeting with clients for an initial intake of their wants and needs, creating options for the clients, including both examples and itemized price breakdowns, and maintaining further communication in the case of needed changes.
• Working with vendors to get all needed materials within budget and with strict deadlines.
• Planning and execution of floral workshops and classes. These often are partnered events which mean I must work closely with other businesses to have a successful event that is mutually beneficial.

• With this job I was able to manage a busy household full time. I built relationships with 3 children as well as their parents and through those relationships was able to positively affect the children’s wellbeing.
• Responsible for 3 children on a daily basis (one school aged and 2 younger children). This included coordinating everyday activities such as school, lessons, appointments, play dates, and other events.
• Collaborated closely with parents in establishing boundaries/rules within the household which helped maintain consistency across all environments.
• Instilled healthy habits and behaviors in the children and aided in their education.
• Assisted with light housekeeping duties as well as running errands.
• Prepared meals and snacks for children based on dietary guidelines.
• Developed strong communication with parents to provide updates on children''s progress, needs, and achievements.
