Annika Patel

I am a freshman at Indiana University's Kelley School of Business, as a finance major. Throughout high school I have shown these strengths through being a part of the varsity water polo team and student advisory council, where I was able to utilize my leadership skills to effectively communicate and collaborate with my peers and teammates. As a part of the water polo team, I was able to create and contribute to an inclusive and lively environment, in order to be successful in and out of the pool. On student council I worked with my fellow peers to make decisions and plan events for the school, as representatives of the student body.

Currently at Indiana University, I continue to grow my skillset in various business focused classes. I have had the opportunity to intern for Beyond Academics this summer to understand the ins and outs of each department. I am collaborating with co-workers to come up with innovative ideas, as well as how to execute them. I have helped on many projects with Beyond Academics, in order to make higher education institutions future ready.
