- I work as a lab assistant in the greenhouse on campus. Here, we always have at least 4 experiments happening at once. I keep track of data for various experiments by weighing and measuring plants and the amount of water they may receive. I am also counting and planting seeds. Many of the tasks I take on here are new to me, so I have learned a lot since starting.

- I started working at Sierra Trading post in Woodbury, MN and then transferred to TJ Maxx in Fargo for school. As a sales associate, I was working closely with the customers and meeting their needs as best as I could. I started as a cashier learning POS system and eventually made my way to the floor working more hands-on with apparel and organizing the backroom. On the floor we had to work efficiently to avoid backup and unnecessary mess, as well as assisting customers in navigating the store.

- Here I had the opportunity to work in a high-pressure and fast-paced environment. I was in charge of the ovens; weighing dough, getting it in the oven on the right temperature for the right amount of time. I was expected to keep a fast, steady pace while keeping my area organized and easy to navigate. Additionally, it was expected to communicate with the others across the kitchen about what cookies are going in and coming out of the oven. I loved showing up here and bringing a positive energy to the workspace.
