Anom Dam

While at Virginia Tech, I will be volunteering with Virginia Special Olympics as part of my fraternity's philanthropic activities. My participation will involve weekly bowling sessions with the athletes in both fall and spring, helping out with a VA Special Olympics basketball tournament held on campus, and raising funds for the annual New River Valley Polar Plunge.

-Committed to servicing 280+ members, building relationships and taking care of necessities throughout the day. Net earnings of $15,000+ in tips a summer.
-Arranging beach chairs and umbrellas, ensuring they are clean and in good condition. Greeting guests, helping them find suitable seating, and fulfilling their requests.
-Addressing any issues or concerns promptly and courteously, aiming to enhance the overall guest experience.
-Being aware of and adhering to safety protocols, including understanding emergency procedures and basic first aid.
-Supervise and train younger employees on club operation, customer service, and member preference
-Develop and plan social club events to enhance member experience and generate club revenue. Planned and hosted private member events, including firm gatherings.
