At the hopes door new beginning, the youth advisory council’s mission is to spread anti-violence in our communities. The center partners with the councils to train the youth to understand violence promotion, they encourage the members to participate in projects and promote their own perspectives into these situations. As a communication officer I was in charge of sending out emails to members to remind them of upcoming meetings, events, or topics discussed during our meetings. It is an important role because it keeps you in charge of sharing information to others, and being able to actively participate in an organization like this. It’s also important for outreach projects with other organizations. This role has taught me the importance of communications and how important it is in not only team settings but everyday life.
I worked as a Chick-fil-A team member where I focus on providing great customer service with a positive attitude. My role includes taking orders, preparing food, and ensuring that guests have a clean and welcoming dining experience. I enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where teamwork and efficiency are key to success. Serving guests with respect and kindness allows me to make a difference in their day.
